1
Can I book a bespoke retreat?
Yes — bespoke is our thing. We love tailoring private experiences for groups who want something meaningful and memorable. Whether it’s a birthday camp-out, hens or bucks gathering, leadership offsite, corporate events, or digital detox group, we’ll work with you to shape a retreat that fits. Get in touch to start planning.
2
What should I bring?
We’ll send you a detailed pre-arrival guide to help you pack mindfully. But generally — appropriate layers for the weather, good walking shoes, a water bottle, toiletries, and an openness to the elements. We provide everything else you need for a nourishing stay.
3
Is there phone reception or internet?
Nope — and that’s the point. We’re a space for digital detox. You’ll have peace, quiet, and a chance to really reconnect with yourself, the land, and the people around you.
4
Is this suitable for families?
At the moment, our Retreats dates are reserved for adult guests (18+) who are seeking a quiet, reflective, and immersive retreat experience. Families are welcome to contact us with a private book of minimum 6 for a weekend stay.
5
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes, we provide wholesome, seasonal meals that can be adapted for most dietary needs — just let us know when booking. Our focus is on nourishing, local, slow food made with intention.
6
Do I need to have experience in the bush to come?
Not at all. In fact, many of our guests have never slept under canvas before. Our hosted retreats are designed to make the bush feel safe, inspiring, and deeply enriching — even if it’s your first time. We’ll walk you through everything.
7
What’s the accessibility of the site like?
We want to be upfront: Wollemi Ridge Retreats is located in rugged bushland. The paths are uneven, and there are no paved or level walkways. At this stage, the retreat is not wheelchair accessible and may present challenges for guests with mobility limitations.
However, accessibility is a key part of our next development phase. We’re working with accessibility ambassador to assess and improve access for guests with a range of accessibility needs. We are actively learning and planning infrastructure that supports greater inclusion.
